Go Blue, Beat the Flu & COVID too!

Getting your vaccinations should be at the top of your list this fall. You'll stay healthy and it protects others who might become very ill if exposed.

The U-M community has several options to get their flu and COVID-19 vaccinations. Please determine which is the best approach for you.

Michigan Medicine and Medical School Community

Michigan Medicine employees, learners and volunteers can get more information about getting a flu shot through Occupational Health Services. Get more information.

Ann Arbor Campus Community

Drop-in clinics are available on select days across campus through mid-November. Some clinics will offer both flu and COVID-19 vaccines, while others will offer flu vaccines only. This may change as more COVID-19 vaccine becomes available. The clinic schedule contains the latest information.

Who can attend: Campus faculty, staff and students. Must be 18 and older.

Cost: Those covered under an accepted health insurance plan do not pay out-of-pocket. Please bring your insurance card. Employees not covered under an accepted plan can pay $44 by check or credit card for a flu shot. The out-of-pocket cost for COVID-19 vaccinations will be shared when available.

Note: Many campus departments, units and buildings have scheduled onsite flu shot clinics for their employees. Please check with your department's administrator to see if your area has scheduled its own on-site flu shot clinic.

Off-Site Flu Vaccination Options

Faculty and staff working remotely or who cannot attend a campus clinic (as well as spouses/OQAs, dependents and retirees) can get vaccinations at their doctor’s office, local clinic or most pharmacies.

When a vaccination is administered at a pharmacy, there is no cost when either the member's medical or prescription drug insurance card is provided. Do not use both cards or there could be confusion. Learn more about coverage through U-M health plans.
