Ergo Grants AvailableUniversity departments and units in need of financial help are encouraged to apply for an Ergo Grant to purchase equipment or to redesign work processes to solve ergonomic risk factors. Apply for MHealthy ergonomics grant funds. Mindfulness Meditation Group Every Tuesday
Counseling and Consultation Services AvailableThe Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FASAP) offers a number of services designed to help you and your immediate family members with personal difficulties encountered at both work and home. MHealthy Vending, Dining and Catering ProgramsYou can find MHealthy-approved items in vending machines, at dining locations and through U-M Catering. Look for the MHealthy logo to find foods that are simply smarter for your body. Learn more. Diabetes Prevention ProgramIf you or a family member is at risk of developing diabetes and live in Wayne or Oakland County, you can now participate in a Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) on Dearborn's campus. Available through a partnership with UM-Dearborn and the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan, DPP is a nationally-recognized, no cost lifestyle change program that has been proven to help people reduce their risk of developing diabetes. Meet Craig Kotajarvi, UM-Dearborn's Wellness CoordinatorHave a question about physical health and well-being? Craig Kotajarvi can answer your questions and provide resources and motivation to help you obtain your health goals! Craig earned a B.S. in Exercise and Rehabilitative Science from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania and is a certified exercise physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine. He is also a personal trainer and group exercise class instructor. While he enjoys playing and watching all sports, he especially enjoys skiing and playing golf and soccer.
