Do It For You – Take Your HQ
After a challenging year, many of us are looking to summer as an opportunity to focus on our own health. If you're not sure where to start or want to assess your current well-being needs, MHealthy's annual health questionnaire (HQ) helps to remove the guesswork.
It takes only a few minutes to complete and, based on your responses, you'll get:
- Health and well-being areas to focus on
- Programs and resources available through Asset Health, MHealthy and other university entities
The health questionnaire is available on the new MHealthy Portal, powered by Asset Health (for the best experience, use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge). Active benefits-eligible faculty and staff and their spouse/other qualified adult enrolled in a U-M health plan can access it.

Enjoy a Safer Summer With or Without Alcohol
This summer, many of us are looking forward to again attending outdoor events like barbecues and parties and seeing friends and family in person. Sometimes, alcohol is included.
Whether you're live or staying virtual, if you plan on drinking, these resources from MHealthy's Alcohol Management Program can help raise your awareness and practice safer drinking habits. Who knows, you may even decide to abstain altogether!
One-on-one Assistance for a Financial Crisis or Other Hardship
When you're dealing with a hardship, it can be challenging to navigate the ever-changing resources available. MHealthy's Resource Coach Program is available to help you find practical solutions to difficult financial and other personal hardship situations. Get referrals and connections to community and local resources, assistance finding the right resource for your unique situation, and more.

Has your ability to perform your job changed – either permanently or temporarily – due to a change in your vision, hearing, strength, endurance or coordination? If so, assistance and support are available through MHealthy's Medical Ergonomics Program.
With a physician's referral, an occupational therapist will provide guidance and identify worksite accommodations to successfully match your abilities to the job's needs.
It's important to teach our children sound eating habits. Now that school is out, one way to take advantage of the extra time with them is by cooking healthier snacks and meals together. Project Healthy Schools (PHS), an MHealthy program that teaches middle school students to make healthier choices, has tons of kid-friendly online resources, including cooking videos, recipes and nutrition education posted to its site.
