Take 5 to Focus
Take 5 to Focus returns to promote daily mindfulness practices. Participate in the Take 5 to Focus Program to reduce stress, become more mindful and practice self-care. Sign up now on the MHealthy Portal.
Starting on Nov. 13, regularly tune into five-minute mindfulness videos for four weeks. Available to active benefits-eligible faculty and staff and their U-M health plan enrolled spouse/OQA. Register by Nov. 20.

Be a Quitter – the Great American Smokeout is Nov. 16
Quitting tobacco is one of the best things you can do for yourself. Tobacco harms nearly every organ of the body and is the leading cause of preventable disease and death in the U.S.
The Great American Smokeout is Nov. 16, a day when thousands start their journey. Resources are available if you are thinking about quitting or are ready to quit. You can also test your tobacco I.Q. and enter to win a $25 gift card!

Test Your Sleep I.Q.
Daylight Saving Time ended on Nov. 5 and we gained one hour. Sounds good right? Not always. Even this small shift can affect your sleep cycle, disrupting your rest for several days.
Resources are available to help you adjust to the time change and practice better sleep habits. You can also take the updated sleep awareness I.Q. challenge. You'll learn how changes in your sleep can affect you and have an opportunity to win a $25 gift card!

Cut Back or Abstain from Alcohol this Season
The holiday season is right around the corner. For some, it's a time for celebrating with loved ones. For others, it's a cause for stress or anxiety. In both cases, alcohol could play a role.
If you want to cut back or abstain from alcohol, sign up to get weekly emails full of tips and resources from the MHealthy Alcohol Management Program. You'll get an email every Monday, Nov. 13 – Jan. 1. Register by Dec. 15.
